These are the TOP 6 Rustic Industrial Chicago Wedding Venues
One of the first things you do after you announce to your family and friends that you are engaged is… to find a DATE of the wedding and a VENUE which will accommodate all your guests and, well, your dreams! 😊But how do you choose the right one out of HUNDREDS of places in Chicago?? Well, that’s why we’re here 😏We decided to help you out a bit (you’re welcome), so we created a list of the Top 6 Rustic Industrial Chicago Wedding Venues for you!!! 🙏🙏🙏
All these venues also offer the option for both ceremony AND reception (so convenient, right??). We believe that this elevates your guest’s experience since they can just stay in one spot all together, mingling and happifying themselves during cocktail hour instead of stressfully dispersing all over the city if the locations are separate!
Okay, here we go:
1. Salvage One
Salvage One is one of the MOST unique wedding venues in Chicago for sure! This venue has so many cool artifacts and antique salvaged furniture, it does a LOT of the legwork in getting your wedding absolutely Pinterest-perfect! 👌 You can of course decorate it more, but it’s pretty epic already as is! They have two separate ceremony spots, one inside and the second one outside in a courtyard, both with that immaculate yet super cozy rustic charm 👍
Capacity: Up to 250, seated
2. Artifact Events
Artifact Events in Ravenswood is another very unique venue with a perfect set up if you’d like to have everything in one spot. They have an outside courtyard with a brick wall with opulent Greek inspired pillars! They actually have two separate spaces, so many times two weddings happen at the same time (don’t worry they are 100% separate)! The South side has the outside courtyard and two floors set up, while the North side has a big open space–spanning four floors tall!–for the ceremony area/dance floor.
Capacity: Up to 350, seated
3. Morgan MFG
Morgan MFG is a very versatile wedding/reception space! SO versatile that they do a concerts there as well! They have beautiful skylights above the whole ceremony/reception space with a bar on the side; then there’s a mezzanine level with ANOTHER huge bar, which is often used for cocktail hour; THEN there is the THIRD part, which is a large concrete open space perfect for any rustic industrial wedding. This venue can be customized into so many different styles and just looks and FEELS epic!
Capacity: Up to 600, seated
4. Bridgeport Art Center
This is another venue that has two separate wedding areas. One of them is called the Sculpture Garden because they have several large scale sculptures right outside of the venue. The outside space is of course gorgeous, with an added bonus of having a roof (unexpected rain on your wedding day is a real struggle!). And the whole space is just glowing with the charm of rustic brick walls, hardwood floors, and reclaimed wood beams lining the ceiling. The other area is called The Skyline Loft, which is an indoor space with an impeccable view of the skyline of Chicago with a gorgeous skylight overhead that lets a gush of light in! Definitely worth looking into!!
Skyline Loft Capacity: 100-600, seated
Sculpture Garden: Up to 550, seated
Ovation Chicago is a venue where it all happens in one open space again. The design of the space is just brilliant in that there’s this beautiful skylight right above where the ceremony takes place–PERFECT for beautiful and natural looking photos of the ceremony!! Also, for you dance party people (hollaaaaa): they have an amazing speaker system that will DEFINITELY do you and your crazy friends justice when it comes the dance floor 😁💃🕺🎶 Also, something that’s super unique to Ovation is that, the owner, who owns a beautiful white Rolls-Royce, takes their couples around for a ride, driving them off into the sunset (almost literally!–he drives them to a beautiful for some sunset portraits 🌞).
Capacity: Up to 200, seated
6. Firehouse Chicago
Firehouse Chicago is and looks exactly as it sounds – an old firehouse. A huge wooden door, formerly the garage door for the fire engine, is a perfect backdrop for the ceremony and the head table, and can be also opened for summer weddings. They have a side garden which can be used for cocktail hour, ceremony, or reception. Also their beautiful bridal room in the second floor is wonderful and the fastest way how to get down to the reception is by sliding down the firehouse pipe–PERFECT for anyone wanting to make a grand entrance!!
